While Louise Maitlin (Lois Maxwell) is the loving owner of a loyal sled dog named Kazan, her cruel and sadistic father has little use for the animal. When Mr. Maitlin tries killing him, Kazan escapes into the Canadian wilderness, where he is easily mistaken for a wolf. After conservation agent Thomas Weyman (Stephen Dunne) frees the dog from a trap, hunter Sandy Jepson (Joe Sawyer) wounds the animal and brings him back to town, where Louise's father arranges for a fight to the death with his prized Great Dane. But when Louise gets wind of her dog's fate, she manages to retrain her loyal pet into the docile and friendly animal he once was. (Sony Pictures Television)
