After working with Hitchcock, Marlene stayed in England for one more film. This was the second time she was partnered with James Stewart (after the 1939 western Destry), but their pairing was never without obstacles... However, it was then that the almost 50-year-old legend was complimented on her eternal cuteness, which I absolutely agree with.

James Stewart is an acting legend for me and one of my favorite actors. And it's precisely in this film where he showcases his strength, that he alone - essentially alone - can carry even this screenplay, which could be a thriller but isn't quite so. It's more of a suspenseful family film, but he's just great in it.
