Young Babe has no way of knowing how much his world is about to change when his mother is suddenly hauled off in a truck that takes pigs away. Babe then arrives at the farm of Mr. Hoggett and his large and lively wife, Esme. All kinds of species live on the farm, and some of the animals welcome Babe with open paws, while a few resent the friendly little porker. Babe's approach to the barnyard life is different from all the others, and he goes to great lengths to find acceptance. (Showtime)

English Babe is a proper pig, a charismatic pig. You don’t see that very often. It’s a pity that otherwise this is your typical cute movie from Disney, but live action. ()

English Clever, cute, tasteful and truly beautiful. The animals really look as if human speech is their basic nature, and the director, together with the renowned cinematographer, give some scenes a magical touch that goes hand in hand with the actual mood of the story. And when all this is combined with a first-class "family-friendly" script, the result is an engaging and informative spectacle, even worthy of inclusion in prestigious film encyclopedias like "1001 Movies You Must Watch". English A nice family film that still has qualities that other films lack. In addition to an interesting way of dividing the story into individual chapters and the introduction of these chapters themselves, you will also be amazed by the incredible trickery, and moreover, without a single computer effect, at least as far as I can judge. Nice and enjoyable. ()
