Scott Brady stars as lawyer Mitch Baker, a man intent on revenge against "Reverend" Jim Simmons, the man who murdered his father, a Secret Service agent. He arrives in Mission, Texas, under a false name, and takes residence with Ed Newton (Rhys Williams), an unordained minister who runs a facility for abandoned half-breed Indian children and young people. One of them, Angelita (Anne Bancroft), quickly becomes interested in Mitch. He learns that, although Simmons is hidden out across the border, in Mexico, his henchman still carry out his dirty work in Mission. When the local sheriff (Myron Healey) gets involved in a gun battle with Davis' men, Mitch kills two of them, and hopes that this will bring Davis out into the open. U.S. Marshall Steve Evans (Jay C. Flippen), a friend of Mitch's father, arrives in town, and warns Mitch not to take the law into his own hands. He reveals Mitch's identity to Ed and Angelita, who also beg him to let Evans handle the situation, but the younger man refuses to listen to anyone. Fine work by Bancroft in standard western.
