English In the hands of a different director, this film could have been a superb psycho-thriller, but unfortunately, Nicolas Gesser doesn’t get much out of the premise. It’s unsurprising, predictable, derivative and a little contrived. The age of the protagonist also bothered me, not because it offended me in any way, but because I believe no thirteen year old person would behave like that, even if the girl in question is “different”.
