English I really liked the theme, as well as the atmosphere of the underground world, in which claustrophobic cramping alternates with the openness of large caverns. However, the processing and the script are stupid and horrible. The Cave is, of course, a consistent alien concoction and a compilation of the most shabby clichés and illogicalities. The main characters are really only good for support, most of the dialogues are nonsense and the tricks are B-movie ridiculous. However, if you accept this "let's have fun with non-originality" game, it's quite fun to spend 90 minutes with it. Regardless of which direction. ()

English Until about half way through this is so boring you chew off your own fingers, but after that the filmmakers probably overdosed on mescalin and other drugs and lost all grip on reality. What happens next is a simply indescribable trip. The already stupid story is then subjected to a total absence of logic, scene order and anything else. The “dialogs" are an experience in themselves. And the same applies to the action scenes - the MacGyver-style flame-thrower is a prime example. A picture you will have a whale of a time watching at the expense of the filmmakers. You can only fully appreciate the beauty of this work of art when you invite a few people over and have a few beers together and turn on the DVD machine. The line about the mapping pistol will definitely go down in cinema history as one of the stupidest lines ever heard. ()

English The divers in the American-German-Romanian film The Cave wanted to discover a new ecosystem, but they stumbled upon something a little different. The film is not original in this regard, but the way it is shot, the way it is handled technically, and the fact that it doesn't always take itself too seriously and is light-hearted, accessible to the audience, and excellent in terms of the masks, makes it in my eyes something that is definitely worth paying attention to and fun to watch.
