Rain

In a sleepy seaside resort of the South of France, Mellie, a beautiful young woman (Marlene Jobert) is stalked and then raped by a mysterious masked assailant. She shoots him dead soon afterwards and dumps his corpse in the sea. When the body is recovered, American military officer Dobbs (Charles Bronson) accuses Mellie of the murder – and of stealing the U.S. Army money that the rapist had been carrying with him.
