When I Turned Nine

Even if we don't take childhood love too seriously, it is quite possibly the purest and most serious. The sight of their directness and innocence brought tears to my eyes. Beautifully expressed childhood worries, love for parents, first love, and friendship. Hats off to the writer, director, and cast because it was totally believable. 4.5 stars. (06/16/2014)
