Gore in Venice follows the plight of Inspector Angelo De Paul (Jeff Blynn), a cop assigned to investigate a horrifying series of murders that have gripped Venice and left the authorities baffled. Giallo in Venice is certainly not a bad film, although it is certainly a controversial film, but that's only if you haven’t seen many films like this. Even in European productions you can find grittier and more believable films where you won't feel that the killing scenes are so lame. This happened to me a few times with the film, which was most frustrating with the final scene where you expected it to be more perfectly executed, because the scene is otherwise good.
