Dömötör, a headwaiter, and Rudi, his friend, a conductor, are dismissed. Later, they return as guests. Dömötör is seen sporting a false beard, now the spitting image of count Rod-Igor Su-Arezew, the world-famous lion-hunter. A company of people, Uncle Zsiga and his two nieces, both of whom are swimming champions, really believe that the famous hunter and his friend, a hydrobiologist, are sitting next to them. They start a conversation, and the pseudo count invites the cheerful company to the count's manor-house. Not even János, the count's valet, notices that the whole thing is a show-off. Problems start only when the real count arrives. (official distributor synopsis)
