English Exactly as wacky as you'd expect from a show in which John Lennon and Paul McCartney perform (mostly) cover versions of their own songs. Aside from their connecting material (Paul's guessing the language he's currently singing in), I'd like to highlight especially “I Saw Him Standing There", disarmingly performed by Lulu, and also “And I Love Hi" by Esther Phillips. Otherwise, however, there are a number of other well-known faces, Henry Mancini sits down at the piano and puts the crown on everything at the end (not to mention Laurence Olivier playing Richard III) Peter Sellers with a bawdy, hilariously funny and long-legendary recitation of “A Hard Day's Night".
