Antoine is a groom-to-be who is dissuaded from stepping up to the altar by his two friends after they terrify him with their personal marriage horror stories. Antoine ditches his bride and heads for Greece with his friend Fernand... Antoine is about to get married to Gisèle. His friend Julien, a confirmed bachelor, tries desperately to talk him out of it, citing his own painful experiences and that of Fernand, a man who lives under the watchful eye of his domineering wife. Finally, Antoine's resolve cracks and he decides to run away from Gisèle, fleeing on the ship that was to provide their honeymoon cruise. He even gives Gisèle's ticket to Fernand. On the ship, Antoine falls for another woman, Sandra, little knowing that the only attraction that men hold for her is the money she can steal from them... (official distributor synopsis)

This movie is nice and cute and the French language gives it this natural touch of comedy. However, there were still some long pauses where I did not laugh and at times I was also pretty bored because the movie often intentionally and unnecessarily went over the top in order to entertain. The most distinct character was Bebel and when he was not present, the film usually lost its pace.
