In the third episode, the plot didn't fulfill me with too much enthusiasm, I enjoyed the flashbacks of Dexter's beginnings more, so the pilot episode is currently leading easily for me. What gave the episode some extra juice were ironically Dexter's life observations and comments with such dry humor that I had to be on guard to prevent the player from self-igniting.
