Season 7 premiere. After witnessing her brother kill Travis Marshall, Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) attempts to reconcile with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) while struggling to cover up their involvement with the murder. Meanwhile, Detective Mike Anderson has an unfortunate run-in, Quinn and Batista begin to make amends, and LaGuerta finds evidence that causes her to re-think the closed Bay Harbor Butcher case. It was probably the first time when I enjoyed conversations more than the main character's secret hobby in Dexter (well, even though it was a secret...). I enjoyed watching how Debra slowly worked her way to the final realization, and dealing with another killer felt more like a disruptive element this time. And even in this case, the creators didn't avoid a strange Ukrainian name. Kaja? Hmm, I guess the actors wouldn't manage Kate, I understand, those accents cause problems in English-speaking countries.
