Plots(1)
It is the dawning of the War of 1812, and Captain James Marshall (Mark Stevens) is charged with the duty of breaking through a British blockade and retrieving an unsanctioned French war loan - a ship carrying a very valuable cargo. Once the crew learns there will be gold aboard, a mutiny is planned, led by former British Navy captain Ben Waldridge (Patric Knowles), and the captain finds himself at the crew's mercy. The mutineer claims to be sympathetic to the crown, but his real motivation lies in lecherous desire for the treasure. If the mutiny is successful, Waldridge plans to squander the plunder with femme fatale and former girlfriend Leslie (Angela Lansbury). But is the ambiguous Waldridge loyal to the British or is he simply after the gold? (Echo Bridge Entertainment)
