English "Pulse" is not exactly one of King's most successful books and it rather blends in with the rest of his bibliography. It was to be expected that the movie, which had been highly anticipated for quite some time, wouldn't be anything special either. Essentially, it is a variation on the zombie theme, with some original elements, but in its film adaptation, it is simply boring and has dull moments. ()
