A month before the premiere of Barbie, I went back to her movie "cousin", Elle Woods, after many years. Legally Blonde is simple and at times incredibly naive, but it can be watched repeatedly from time to time. Reese Witherspoon obviously enjoyed the lead role quite a bit, and she is complemented wonderfully by the likeable Luke Wilson and the awkward Jennifer Coolidge. Although it's a straightforward film in terms of plot, I'm always amused by the final scenes from the trial.
