Lori Cranston (Sophie Traub) is a confused fifteen-year-old dreamer in search of an escape from her troubled home life. An excellent show. When I look at the reviews here, I wonder what's wrong with me. Tenderness is a quiet yet dramatic story, and what I liked most about it was that I had absolutely no idea what happened and what was going to happen, and most importantly, how it might all end. A perfect Russell Crowe, Jon Foster and Sophie Traub, great music, tension that could be cut, no unnecessary talking (which is a bit strange considering the film was based on a book), so what more could you ask for?
