English A film that is truly primarily about women, and men do not appear here. No, I'm not kidding, there are no men here at all, maybe only somewhere on the street, but I think the creators managed to eliminate them well. What does this mean? Is there actually one element missing here? Absolutely not! Men are mainly talked about and constantly discussed. The sad thing is that the film is conceived as a stupid comedy, and instead of women being presented as real characters, they are caricatured into the image that men have of them. Completely crazy about fashion, envying each other, capable of undermining themselves. This guide writes itself. Why watch movies that are about women but actually turn them into sluts, feminist statues, and women full of deception? What is so funny or interesting about that? The fact that Meg Ryan plays probably the best out of the entire cast is just a sad example of how poorly the characters were written, which is the main problem. Annette Bening is definitely not one of those who can't act, just like Jada Pinkett Smith, whose character is completely unnecessary and also stupid. I don't know a single reason why anyone should watch this film. Is it about beauty? Inner or outer? That is nice, but why did we have to find out only after the end credits have rolled and the main characters talked about what beauty actually is? I am convinced that a film about women and only with women can be funny and serious at the same time, interesting and not stupid. In this case, it simply didn't succeed.
