English The heart of some kind of ancient demon gets to high-school chemistry teacher Robert Englund and the fun begins. Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer is basically something between Buffy and The Faculty. The monsters (the main one in particular) look like out of some some hardcore kid’s fantasy, so this is not really about fear, but that’s something everyone will realise right from the first scene. Englund acts as always, so boring, he doesn’t have a chance to stand out, but the film went by really fast. Decent as a fun snack. 40% ()
