The Leaf ninja work to rebuild the Hidden Leaf Village. While helping with the restoration, Naruto and Sakura are reunited with two old friends—the carpenter Tazuna and his grandson Inari from the Land of Waves. Having heard of the Leaf's crisis, the two rushed to help rebuild the village. The joyous reunion stirs Naruto to recall an incident that took place shortly after their mission in the Land of Waves.
