English Didn't Think of It is not an outright hit, but it is an enjoyable Bollywood film with classic wedding themes. It's also a better film overall than many other alleged Bollywood blockbusters, including Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai. The beautiful faces of the main characters are naturally the best thing this film has to offer. Ayesha Takia is sunny and Apoorva Jha a goddess, but one person worth sinning for is definitely sister-in-law Ayesha Jhulka. The protagonist, the debutant Abhay Deol (resembling a teddy bear), does act like a big kid, but why not forgive him when his volatile emotions bring up the interesting issue of minority Christians living in India?
