Sally (S01E01)

New Zealanders Bret and Jemaine have been living in NYC awhile - but their quest for "hot women" and a music career remains a work in progress. At a bohemian party at their (affectedly lonely) friend Dave's apartment, Jemaine spies Sally - "the most beautiful girl in the room" - and ends up singing and dancing (sort of) his way to her side. Despite the fact that Sally dated Bret for six months, Jemaine falls hard for the pretty blonde. After taking her out for kebobs, Jemaine returns to his apartment and moves in for a kiss. But Bret spoils the moment by turning on the light (did I mention Bret and Jemaine are roommates?), and an uncomfortable Sally departs. (Home Box Office)
