The plot of the third episode revolves entirely around Sheldon's relationship with Amy, but it never slips into any annoying territory. The creators managed to incorporate even more scientific jargon into the Shamy conversations than is typically found in regular episodes, and it was worth it. The arrival of Sheldon's mother was just the icing on the cake. "I don't like it. Stop it." / "Seriously?! Quiet?!" / "But no! John and Yoko." / "When you told me on the phone that you broke up with a girl, did you mean a real girl? Not something you created in a laboratory?" / "Your mother thinks that she may be losing her mind because of me. As a neurobiologist, I was curious."
