English Some scenes are overly digital, others for a change are really interesting, full of action and realistic. But the whole story of Admiral Kolchak is surrounded by a pink storyline that seems like it was cut from a princess fairytale. So you don’t really know if you’re looking at a rough war movie, where legs are torn, or the sweetest Russian chick flick that exists. A very bad film, where the only positive thing is that it introduced our legionnaires a bit, who were pretty rough on the Russian nobility. ()

English Average as can be, and yet at the beginning it looked much more promising. The Admiral needs either a shorter runtime or more interesting characters and a richer plot - as it is, it is boring and especially the second hour of the film is empty to the point of shame. I have to praise some really well shot scenes (the opening voyage between the mines, the shelling of trenches on land - basically everything that takes place on board the ships), the music and the fact that the main characters were at least likeable when there was no "chemistry" between them.__P.S. I no longer regret that I missed out on this "Russian Pearl Harbor" at the Film Club. ()
