W.C. Fields plays a dentist in this comic short who is having a really bad day and lets everyone know it. It all begins when Fields' daughter professes her love for the ice deliveryman. The dentist is made late for his golf game because he must drive the iceman away during his daily stop. Then, after all sorts of golf catastrophes and frustrated displays of impatience, the dentist must go back to work, even though he is not in the mood, and deal with the chaotic antics of his unusual patients.
