If I ever think of Cult of Chucky in the future, it will probably be because it's a film where the doll character still works and is just as scary as he was in the first film. Chucky is so well designed that he loses none of his scariness. But then I will remember the film only because it's a mediocre spectacle, both within the horror genre and within the series. There’s nothing here to dazzle or really scare you.
