Nodame Cantabile: The Final Score - Part I / Nodame Cantabile The Movie I

This, for me, is just a prelude to what must follow. It's not bad, there's a long reminiscence section, the acting is great again, especially the focus on Chiaki, but it doesn't matter because we love it all :-)) It's awfully funny how you can spot a lot of Czech actors here and how they're all dubbed into Japanese. Konvalinková as the aunt, Lipský (only they left him his voice, right? :-D) as the sleeping grandpa who doesn't miss a single concert of his favorite orchestra... The music is great as always, especially during the last performance – perfectly graduating :-) And Nodame herself as always. But as I said at the beginning, for me this is just a prelude to more "suspense", romance, and better music. I'm looking forward and saving my stars for the second part. A better 3 stars. (05/25/2010)
