Lola is a romantic drama that casts Charles Bronson in an atypical role as a middle-aged American writer named Scott who is visiting London. There he meets a young British girl named Lola who lies about her age in order to capture the older man's affections. She tells Scott that she's twenty years old when in truth she is only sixteen! The young seductress captivates Scott, but as the relationship progresses and the two marry, Lola's impulsiveness and immaturity make Scott wonder just what he's gotten himself into. The couple tries desperately to hold their relationship together, but in the end they are forced to come to the realization that when it comes to love, sometimes age does matter.
