Drevená dedina

A drama capturing the social and political changes of the Slovak countryside in the period of 1945-48. The plot is centered around the main character, an old man called Púplava. After the end of World War II. he starts to organize the life in the village and struggles for the rebuilding of the Mrzáčka community, which was burnt down by the German army.
