An ailing ex-lawman undertakes an arduous mission to catch a killer. Based on Michael Connelly's bestseller, the film stars the cagey actor as Terry McCaleb, a retired FBI detective who is recovering from a heart transplant when he meets the beautiful Graciella Rivers, a young woman who believes McCaleb can find her sister's killer.
