Clint Eastwood shows how much western was close to him, how much he got tuned to it and was able to create a character that is mostly in line with the classic idea of spaghetti western, but at the same time, he is overall shifting somewhere else and becoming something different, something new. The finale is not in line with the classic tone of the western and it seems like even the genre is changing along with the character of Wales.
