In the near future, global warming has made water levels rise to unfathomable heights, consuming more than half the earth. With no end in sight, two treasure hunters must follow their daring father (James Brolin) on an adventure to retrieve a lost artifact that will restore the Earth to what it once was. Also in pursuit of the artifact is a ruthless real-estate tycoon (Ben Cross) who will stop at nothing to control its limitless power. Fairly entertaining for a TV movie. Decent special effects, Somerhalder tries hard and Bettina doesn’t look at all bad in her wet suit. But what was the staggered action supposed to mean? Was it meant to be something along the lines of art? If it weren’t for that I might have considered giving this three.
