The group realizes they have to take down Chang themselves in a caper. Chang is running Greendale into the ground, but board thinks he’s doing a great job because of lies. It’s his birthday and the group surveys the campus. Troy reaches out to the AC school for help, they won’t help unless they can have Troy. He turns the AC people down. They break into Chang’s birthday gala with classic caper beats. The get to the room where the Dean is being held and they get caught. They get imprisoned. Chang tells them he’s going to burn down the school to cover up his mess. The group manages to escape and gets into a razor scooter chase with Chang’s kid minions. Chang escapes at the last minute and the board realizes everything has been a lie. They put the Dean back in power to clean up the mess Chang made and the group is reinstated at Greendale. Because they ended up getting help from the AC school Troy has to leave the group to join them. (iTunes)

Surprisingly, I had a good time with this episode, despite Chang's constant presence. The creators nailed the parody of the heist genre in this episode. Watching the intricately planned scheme fall apart, only to discover it was part of the plan all along, with explanations for the mentally challenged, made me burst out laughing. / Lesson learned: Always have a plan ready to save the plan that was supposed to save the plan.
