In contrast to the previous lackluster episode, the twelfth episode did slightly better by sparing me from cartoon characters. However, when it comes to the plot, it remained equally dissatisfying, leaving me with little to enjoy. Once again, boredom set in, and Abed's continuous dives into his film obsession stopped being amusing a while ago; it could use a fresh spark. / Lesson learned: Don't research your family tree if you're not ready for the worst.
