English Flipped is a heartwarming telling of a real-life story, where Rob Reiner, unlike the vast majority of American productions focusing on adult life wisdom exchanges, focuses on elementary school. It has an unwavering charm and a touch of melancholic nostalgia, atypically spiced up with the 1960s, full of prejudices and clichés. It went by fast and was a lot of fun. ()

English I see this as a beautiful unadulterated story of childhood love told from two different perspectives. I was moved by the nice music and the natural atmosphere. I'm just not thrilled with the ending. It was in the spirit of the whole film, it ended well, but it wanted something more. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the retro style and the cast (not just the main characters)! Cute, cute, adorable... 4 stars. ()

English I wasn’t interested at all in this film, but someone recommended it to me recently and I gave it a chance; no regrets. It won me over, it touched me, it’s a beautiful, lovely and interestingly told story. And a fun fact: while watching it, I I thought about the film Stand by Me, the accurate portrayal of the relationships among the kids reminded me a lot of it. And surprise: it’s from the same director :-) ()

English Although I haven’t read the novel and the movie is literally a voice-over narration of the story, I didn't mind it at all. Finally, after a long time, I got to see a romantic comedy which didn't make me cringe even once and I enjoyed its amazing atmosphere all the way through, feeling absolutely great. Some of the storylines kind of fizzle out while others are completely unnecessary. At times you can tell it was made on a very tight budget. However, those are just insignificant details. I believe I'll give this an even higher rating the next time I watch it. An incredibly uplifting movie. ()

English An audiobook with moving pictures. Even if you didn't know (like me, for example) that it was an adaptation of a novel, soon it becomes obvious. Here, the images are nothing more than a necessary addition. They are not used to tell the story; everything is said exclusively with words. Many words. It just feels like a book read out aloud. However, it must be acknowledged that it is an excellent reading of an (apparently) good book. ()
