The first episode of season 3 is too lukewarm, it opens up almost no new stories and there are hardly new characters. We have a solid base for the next episodes, hopefully they will be more dramatic than this one, some slight hints are there.

The first episode of the third season surprised me with the fact that the most interesting events are happening beyond the Wall and with Daenerys, which were places where the plot was stagnant in the previous season. The story in this episode somewhat remains in one place, this time I was a bit disappointed with Tyrion's storyline, from which I expected more after all.
