Four escaped killers hold a way-station keeper, his assistant and a beautiful passenger hostage as they await a coach containing gold. This western appears quite inconspicuous, perhaps even due to the absence of some more familiar actor for us, but the plot compensates for it all and the main story is really strong enough to make you endure the movie. It's about a person's effort to save a woman and child, nothing more, but it's enough and it's sufficiently captivating and powerful in its execution.
