English I give up. Even after having the blackest of expectations, I was once again convinced of the quality of the entire series of films starring Barbie. Barbie in a Mermaid Tale, though, offers fans only a new blend of tried-and-true themes, mostly a mix of Mermaidia with the Island Princess. However, temporarily swapping ballet for surfing isn't a bad idea. (05/15/2010)
