The film revolves around twins named Rebecca and Cecil (Rowan Blanchard and Mason Cook), who have no respect for their stepmom, Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba), the wife of spy-hunting reporter Wilbur Wilson (Joel McHale). Unbeknown to the twins, Marissa is a retired agent for the OSS (initialism for Organization of Super Spies) which has since become the world's top spy agency and former HQ of the now-defunct Spy Kids division. English Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara have already grown up a bit, so new child spies had to come. Their stepmother is Jessica Alba, a spy herself who can handle a lot of demanding action even before giving birth. Good for her. But the kids just don't like her very much. Especially the stepdaughter. But that will change when the kids find out that she is a spy and leads an interesting life. Jessica Alba plays Marissa Wilson, formerly Cortez. Yes, she is Cortez's sister, played by Antonio Banderas. He doesn't appear in this film, but old acquaintances, mentioned Sabara and Vega, do. They have indeed aged. It's visible on them and they aren't as cute anymore. After all, it's been eight years since the last film. They don't play the main roles, but their little roles will please. That's about it. The talking dog is a cliché, there is a lack of cameos by famous actors, but one can't blame Rodriguez for giving up on that. The quality has completely disappeared, some effects are not pleasing, they don't have anything to offer. The story is a recycling of what we have seen before, playing with time doesn't have any deeper meaning. I don't even know if I should say that it's a shame where the series has ended up. It didn't have that much hope for success anyway. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/08/warrior-x-ms-1-sibir-5x-rychle-zbesile.html ()
