English To make it clear from the beginning, I’m a fan of the original Death at a Funeral  and I don’t understand whose idea it was to remake it three years later and with an annoying and raging black cast instead of elegant Brits. And I can’t understand at all why the remake did away with the humour and replaced it with cringe. There are a couple of good moments, of course (all coming from the original), so at least two stars for them. ()

English "Bro" took on a dry English classic and the result was... exactly as expected. Chris is fine, Zoe is extra sexy, and James is a surprising comedic talent. Danny/Russell/Roger announce "I’m too old for this shit!", but otherwise it’s a cruel, unfunny bore that drags on for fifty-eight minutes. ()
