One dark night 12 years ago, madman Raymong Garth butchered his wife and children in their creepy mansion before killing himself. The 1980s brought a plethora of slashers and some are simply forgotten. Hell Night is one such film, because it doesn't really have anything to make it stand out, even though it tries to make the hell night really scary, to make the students fear for their lives. But somehow this failed to translate to the viewer, who will take away a mediocre horror experience rather than a truly breathtaking one.
