English While this Telugu grandiose film would probably like to bear comparison with the stoically brilliant Bollywood epic Jodhaa Akbar (2008), it obviously falls short of its qualities. However, after the opening hour of the ephemeral, The Great Warrior becomes a very entertaining film. And an absolute charm after the intermission that announces a return to 400 years ago. While up until then the journey to find resolution from past lives seemed to be a topic for individuals, the highlight is of course the two main lovers coming together. There are of course a lot of subplots, but just as Bhairava lived up to his duty and love, so has his current image transformed from a swaggering lad to a legendary hero. The performances of Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal also add a certain amount of realness to the film overall. I am therefore satisfied. ()
