English I suspect that Kundera wrote "The Blunder" casually, it didn't give him much work and he approached it.... a bit like a blunder. I would almost bet that today he doesn't even have the slightest need to return to it in any way. The play is entertaining even in this form, and Dulava and Vetchý in the roles of chairman and director rightly attract attention. Kundera knew how to take shots at the arrogance and stupidity of power, but I get the feeling that a more subtle form of satire would be far more effective than this absurd farce. It needed a bit more seriousness and then it would have been perfect. Overall impression: 75%. ()
