English Once again, Jennifer Love Hewitt has found material from which she can coax more. This also wasn't the first time that Lifetime managed, on the basis of a good but definitely not great script, to give space to its star and focus her further and higher. This is how a series of films with Vicky Pratt, who has played purely character-driven and psychologically challenging roles, has worked, and the same is true for Nicolette Sheridan. Moreover, The Client List has been made into yet another 25-part series. I wasn't expecting something so sexy and playful. Yes, she's still our main character from Texas, but in the movie, she's been through a pretty tough time and the show gives her the opportunity to look at her situation from multiple sides. Jennifer Love Hewitt is a joy to look at, she is incredible and charming, and the acting also features strong moments. Her mother is played by Cybill Shepherd, the story is focused, and there are some irresistible catchphrases, meaning that there's basically nothing to fault it for. ()

English An unexpectedly solid TV movie, which, apart from the fabulous Jennifer Love Hewitt, offers an interesting insight into the nooks and crannies of "massage" parlours and a quite realistic view of a totally broke American family trying to survive, with the individual crisis life decisions resulting from it. It has no higher ambitions, and that's where it's fine. A solid pilot for a series. ()

English I didn't expect The Client List to grab my attention so much. My interest in seeing this unknown film is mainly due to the amazing Jennifer Love Hewitt. I never get enough of her, so I'm happy for every role she plays. The screenplay, which was based on a true story, intrigued me. Most of the film seems convincing. Although I doubt the wives would react to their husbands’ infidelity like that... Nice and easy to digest. 4 stars. ()
