English A typical sixties drama. Mélanie Laurent is this movie’s best feature. Whenever she appears, it’s always a great pleasure to watch her. In fact, she was the only reason I didn’t take my eyes off the movie. On the other hand, it’s a French film with the biggest product placement I’ve ever seen. Not even the soap-operas on Czech TV channels are quite as thick-skinned. The first scene taking place in Starbucks just knocked me down. The best thing was how all the companies that paid for advertising in this film had their logos visible literally from all angles. As a drama, however, this film is a total classic. It would have been quite boring without Mélanie. ()
