At PROM, every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; PROM portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there’s only one "PROM". (official distributor synopsis)

English It's not a great movie, it's straightforward, it's easy to digest, it's Disney... but at the time it was enough for me. It's a movie built on clichés, but there are a lot of them, and they alternate, so it’s not a problem at all. It's not that I came away from this movie with any great revelations, but I wasn't bored by it, and the clown who was looking for someone to take to the prom and ended up taking his sister was just... awesome. :-) Plus, I'm a sucker for Disney stuff, because it's usually mindless cliched trash, and that's what I love about it. I could liken it to someone who gets off on B-horror, C-horror... horror movies in general. ()
