A masterful cinematic poem created over the course of seven years using nine hours of raw material and 6,000 photographic motifs. An industrial macro- and microcosm, an abstract model of revolution, and the beauty of dawn, where things happening in a glass may be a metaphor for social events and the revolutionary motif culminates in the final shot, filmed in a revolutionary mood in Lodz in 1980.
