A campsite on the outskirts of Madrid is the common home of failed writers, funfair stallholders who are just travelling through, anonymous artists, hairdressers, unemployed workers... It is on this unattractive beach that Bárbara Helguera’s shipwrecked life becomes stranded. She is a famous young designer who is nevertheless crippled with debts and failure. Fascinated by a world that is so very different from her own, Bárbara comes across a wide array of personal stories on the campsite: little stories in the unimportant lives —some troublesome, others peaceful— of the caravan and mobile-home occupants that have taken refuge there, far from the madding crowd and the city’s frenzy. Most important of all, Bárbara will experience love in a caravan that does not even have a toilet... (Seminci - Valladolid International Film Festival)
