The series was recommended to me, I didn't know anything about it except that it was about a western, and because I definitely don't mind a good western, I went for it. The pilot episode immediately caught my attention, it was packed with events, had an excellent period atmosphere, and I could even cheer for the Chechen Dog Soldiers, so I had a great time.
